Last week we announced our new partnership with Calon Hearts, the leading heart charity in Wales for placing defibrillators in communities and delivering CPR and defibrillator training. At least 12 seemingly healthy young people die every week in the UK from heart conditions they didn’t even know they had and so Calon Heart’s mission is simple; to reduce this number so that no family loses a loved one to a heart condition that could have been detected and managed.
How can you help?
Our partnership is all about helping the team at Calon Hearts raise the important funds they need to keep doing their great work. And so to do exactly that, Calon has signed up as a charity you can select to donate to when recycling your unwanted clothing with us. In just three easy steps, you can help.
- Donate unwanted shoes, clothes, bags and belts by having a wardrobe clean-out and bagging up your unwanted items
- Book a free collection here on our website – Collect My Clothes Wales
- Select Calon Hearts as your chosen charity.
Please note you will need a minimum of four bags to arrange a collection. Teaming up with neighbours/friends in your community is a great way to get everyone involved.
As well as recycling with us here at Collect My Clothes Wales, you can also help Calon Hearts via our Dragon Bags brand. Whether you are a retailer, community centre, pub owner, school, leisure centre, or general business across Wales, you could host a clothing bank within your outdoor space.
By hosting a clothing bank in your outdoor space, you can not only help raise vital income for them but also stop clothing from going to landfill.
So please get in touch if you think you can help by visiting our website at www.dragonbags.co.uk
